“This community is a great market for trailers of all styles, said Don Sherman, owner and 2007 Brandon High School graduate. “My grandfather was the mayor of Ortonville back in the 1970s—this is my hometown and we are proud to be here.”
Black Diamond opened Jan. 15 and is family owned and operated featuring all made in the USA products. Whether aluminum or steel framed a complete line of dump trailers, cargo trailers or utility trailers are at the township business.
“The Black Diamond advantage stems from large bulk purchases of trailers, with the savings passed on to the customers, said Sherman. “We purchase hundreds of Five Star quality trailers—the strongest built available. The quantity purchase keeps the price low to our customers.”
Black Diamond features Continental Cargo, Everlite Trailers, Haulin Trailers, Look Trailers, RPM, Rice Trailers, U.S. Cargo and Force Trailers. Other accessories include hitches from Byers, B&W, 180 Hitch, Kurt and Draw Tite.
“Whether you pull behind a car, truck, or mini van we have just the trailer for you,” he said. “We can outfit your vehicle too with a hitch or wiring to keep customers safe and legal.”
Black Diamond Trailer professionals are state certified and licensed through the state to sell, service and repair trailers through the National Traffic Safety Administration and the Department of Transportation. Black Diamond will also modified trailers with added suspension or other equipment if the customer needs change.
