The Orion fire department had their hands full June 10 when a structure fire ignited in the Orion Cove apartments.
While the blaze looked small from the outside, Fire Chief Jeff Key said most of the fire was contained in the roof cavity above an apartment.
Fire station No. 1 responded to the incident, and with the help of one Oxford fire truck and Oakland County Sheriffs, were able to clear the area and put out the blaze in between 30 minutes and one hour since receiving the call.
