Blazing a new trail

Forty volunteers accomplished 90 percent of construction goals for North Oakland Headwaters Land Conservancy’s Work Day, Sept. 18.
They built a rustic wetland path at Kimball Sanctuary in Independence Township, from the parking area to the Clinton River. As soon as all the wooden planks are secured, it will be ready for the public to use.
The project was part of a joint Albion College alumni- NOHLC workday.
