The American Red Cross has asked for assistance to Help Save a Life this Christmas Season.
The Clarkston area is hosting a Red Cross blood drive on Thursday, Dec. 21, 9 a.m.-8 p.m., at Independence Township Fire Department, 6500 Citation Dr.
The blood drive is co-sponsored by the Clarkston Lions Club, Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce and the Independence Township Fire Department.
Donating takes about one hour, start to finish, including paperwork, donating and cookies.
