Lovers of the written word will find bargains galore this weekend as the Friends of the Addison Township Public Library hosts a used book sale inside downtown Leonard’s old fire hall located at 19 E. Elmwood St.
The sale begins on Friday, March 27 from 3-7 p.m. and wraps up on Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
A great number of books on a plethora of subjects will be available including romance, mystery, fiction, computers, biographies, art, gardening, history, health, science, photography, how-to, religion, reference, self-help and travel.
CDs, videotapes and audio books will also be for sale.
All small paperback and children’s books are priced at 50 cents each, while hardcover books and other materials will be sold for $1 a piece.
Proceeds to benefit the Friends and their ongoing efforts to help build a new township library.
A special sale for Friends-members only will be conducted on Thursday, March 26 from 3-7 p.m. New memberships and renewals will be available at the door.
