Boys State, Girls State

American Legion Campbell Richmond Post 63 sponsors high school students in Boys State and Girls State programs every year.
Boys State, for students in grade 11, is a state, national, and civics program, June 16-22 at Northwood University in Midland. Post 63 is interviewing candidates this month for the leadership program, and will sponsor those selected for the week-long program.
The post is looking for at least 3-4 eligible candidates from Clarkston and surrounding areas.

Post 63 Auxiliary is searching for female juniors in high school, interested in attending Girls State at Michigan State University, June 16-22.
Girls State offers a simulation of all levels of government, executive, legislative, and judicial, and offers students opportunities to explore how government works and our effect on it.
