Brandon Idol, a singing competition modeled after the hit reality tv show ‘American Idol? will take place over the course of two nights this month.
At 7 p.m., April 26, 25 contestants will take to the stage at the Brandon High School Performing Arts Center, 1025 S. Ortonville Road. From those, a top ten will be determined and they will perform beginning at 7 p.m., April 27. The top three winners will be awarded cash prizes.
Judging the competition will be Jordan Fahr, a BHS graduate and PAC assistant; Jeff Hughes, a BHS teacher and sound technician for PAC programs; Ken Alderman, school liaison police officer; Jessica Keller, a make-up artist with Saks Fifth Avenue and music lover; and Foster Braun, a WJR radio announcer.
Tickets will be sold this week outside the BHS PAC from 3-4:30 p.m. and are also sold to students during lunch. Tickets are $5 and will also be sold at the door each night of the performance.
