Four Brandon varsity wrestlers placed for the Blackhawks at the Flint Metro League meet Saturday, Feb. 11 at Linden.
Highlighting the list was Travis Murphy, who won first place in the 103-lb. weight class. Andrew Hyde (152) took second place, while Aaron Hyde (160) and Ryan Claycomb (171) won their third-place matches.
As a team, the Blackhawks finished seventh in the tournament with 64 points, 3-1/2 points behind sixth-place Lapeer West. Brandon also finished the season in seventh place in the league.
Linden edged Oxford 179.5-178.5 for the tournament championship, while Holly was third with 118.5 points. The host Eagles? win gave them the outright league championship.
