Charter Township of Orion Trustee Michael Flood, Jr. announced last week his candidacy for re-election in the 2012 election this November. Flood was appointed to the Board of Trustees in June 2011 to replace the vacated seat of Trustee JoAnn Van Tassel, who was appointed Township Supervisor. Flood is a Republican candidate for the trustee position, which carries a four-year term.
