Orion Township awarded liquor licenses to two area businesses at its January 17 Board of Trustees meeting. Orion Hotel LLC (Springhill Suites) was given a Class B Hotel License to serve beer, win and liquor on its premises. LRM Associates, owned by Larry Mullin, was awarded a Class C License to serve beer, wine and liquor at a planned family-style restaurant to be built on the northest corner of Baldwin and Maybee Roads. The license will be held in escrow for two years for site planning and construction to begin.
