Oakland County Sheriffs reported an 81-year-old man walked into the Orion Substation on Nov. 14. The man asked to use the bathroom and was escorted to the lavatory. Shortly after entering, he shot himself once with a .32 caliber revolver. The victim was rushed to POH by the Orion Fire Department but was declared deceased hours later. Per family members, the victim lived alone after his wife passed away a few years earlier.
