Ortonville — The Brandon Township Public Library has received a complete automated external defibrillator machine through the London Strong Foundation Giving Tuesday Grant.
“My hope is we never have a library patron in distress, however, it is comforting to know that if there is an instance where an AED machine is needed, and a life can be saved, we are prepared,” said BTPL Director Laura Fromwiller. “We are grateful to London Strong for providing the AED machine and to Marianne Sherrod for training our staff on the proper use.”
The London Strong Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Grand Blanc, whose mission is to bring awareness to heart conditions and to increase the chanse of survival by emphasizing the important of heart screenings, CPR, and AEDs.
