Cagers celebrate, again

No, this isn’t a reprint of last week’s basketball photo.
The team, which won a share of the OAA II title two weeks ago at home, clinched the outright crown by topping host Birmingham Groves 81-58 last Friday.
This time, they have the hardware to prove it, as Drew Maynard, who scored 26 points vs. Groves holds the latest addition to the Lake Orion trophy case. Chris Lum added 11 in the win as the Dragons improved to 10-0 in league play and 13-5 overall.
They are on the road for two more league games this week before returning home for district action against Waterford Kettering on Monday. Get updates on all Dragon action in this web edition.
