Great Lakes Cancer Institute, Michigan Hematology Oncology, SWAN for Life, and McLaren Breast Center host their first Cancer Survivor Day Celebration, 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., Sunday, June 13, at the McLaren Health Village, 5680 Bow Pointe Drive.
The celebration offers guests an opportunity to relax and socialize with fellow cancer survivors in a festive setting. Guests can listen to inspirational stories from fellow survivors, physicians, and caregivers, as well as enjoy a picnic lunch.
Guest speaker is Lila Lazarus, TV personality and health reporter. Entertainment includes music, clowns, and caricature artists.
All community cancer survivors and their families are welcome. Tours of the facility and community healing garden will be offered.
