Clarkston Area Youth Assistance honored over 100 Clarkston students at its 2013 Youth Recognition Ceremony at Clarkston United Methodist Church, April 24.
Each year, CAYA contacts Clarkston area organizations and schools requesting nominations of youth who support their community through outstanding behavior and service.
“We commend these students for their willingness, achievements, and for stepping forward in positive ways without ever wondering, ‘what’s in it for me,'” said Kathryn McVean, CAYA office administrator.
