The Orion Township Senior Center will soon be the recipient of a 6×8 kiln enclosure in its arts and crafts room, thanks to Community Development Block Grant funds.
Bids will be going out for the construction of the kiln enclosure, which will allow visitors at the center to fire pottery in a safe environment. The enclosure will include downdraft kiln vents.
