The Oxford Village Council Tuesday voted to accept “with deepest regrets” the resignation of Duane Salswedel from the village’s Zoning Board of Appeals.
Because Salswedel served on the ZBA for 34 years, a resolution honoring him is expected to be approved by council at an upcoming meeting.
Council voted to appoint resident Tracy Miller, husband of village President Renee Donovan, to fill Salswedel’s seat on the ZBA.
Due to conflicts with other meetings, Councilman Dave Bailey also resigned from the ZBA and was replaced by Councilman Steve Allen.
