Lights and cameras filled the showroom of Milosch’s Palace dealership when Avalon films shot clips for the new 2015 Chrysler 200 commercial.
A 30-second commercial was previously produced in Portland, Oregon and used for internal purposes. That advertisement took the process of car production in reverse, beginning in an auto show setting and ending in an assembly factory.
According to director Peter Klein, ‘The boss at Chrysler said ‘I’d rather see it in the showroom.??
The new idea involved a granite-colored 200 inside a dealership showroom, reversing out the front doors, and back to the factory.
Klein explained the there was not a definite reason for using Milosch’s dealership other than the close proximity to Chrysler headquarters.
Avalon films, from Royal Oak, works with car companies and produces many types of footage, including the 200 driving footage and Chrysler commercial featuring the rapper Eminem.
The video shoot at Milosch consisted of six hours of taping three different shots, cleaning the 200, and prepping the showroom.
