Dona Cimino, an employee in the township public works department, is being promoted from her current position as a clerk to office coordinator.
Orion Township trustees approved the promotion on May 2, as former office coordinator Wendy Stiller has resigned. Cimino previously served as a temporary office coordinator when Stiller was on maternity leave.
Cimino will be paid $15.50 per hour (40 hours a week, $32,234 annually), effective June 6.
The township is advertising to fill Cimino’s clerk position, for $11.18 per hour, 40 hours a week ($23,258 annually), plus benefits.
