With little discussion, the Clarkston City Council on Feb. 28 passed second reading of two revised ordinances.
A ‘cost recovery? ordinance will allow the city to charge offenders for the actual cost of police officers? and prosecutors? time in pursuing cases at the district court level.
The other new ordinance will allow for prosecution of those under age 21 for ‘possession? of alcoholic beverages even if containers are not found if officers determine that the suspect has consumed alcohol.
