A 70-year-old Clawson woman lost her life on Nov. 6 following an accident with a semi-truck on Baldwin Road.
Investigators from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department Crash Reconstruction Unit said the woman was traveling south on Baldwin Road, south of Clarkston Road, about 2:47 p.m. on Thursday, when she collided with a northbound semi-truck.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the accident, but the Clawson woman had to be extricated from her vehicle. She was transported to the North Oakland Medical Center, and listed in critical condition, until she died there around 9 p.m., the same day of the accident.
Investigators say alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
