The 2005 Orion Township Clean-Up Program begins this month, and continues through May and June as residents are encouraged by the township board to get involved in their neighborhoods.
Participation by citizens and area businesses alike is encouraged. The program coincides with Earth Day on April 22, Household Hazardous Waste Day on May 14, and Eagle Valley’s Free Disposal Day on June 4.
To participate, individuals and groups are asked to call the township clerk’s office with their contact person’s name and phone number and the date and location of their clean-up project/area.
Their efforts will be recognized at a board meeting in late June.
