Michael J. Gingell, chairman of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners, will receive the 2015 Golden Ring of Hope Award at the 19th Annual Ring of Hope Dinner presented by the Homes for Autism organization, Saturday, Nov. 21.
The dinner is held at the Pine Knob Mansion, located at 5580 Waldon Road in Independence Township.
Homes for Autism provides and maintains houses for adults with autism and developmental disabilities.
Homes for Autism selected Chairman Gingell for the distinguished award due to his years of outstanding community service and involvement in organizations that support Autism.
