Dodgeball
The free community gym and dodgeball tournaments at the Victory World Outreach church are moved to every first and third Saturday from 7-10 p.m. During this event kids can play basketball, dodgeball, fooseball, table tennis and board games. It is $1 to enter the dodgeball tournament, which includes the divisions sixth grade and under and seventh grade and up, and the winning team in both division takes home the entrance money. Kids 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult. There will be free food and pop sold for $1. Volunteers and chaperones are needed and appreciated, as well as any food donations.
VFW Ladies Auxiliary
If your son or daughter, husband or wife, mother or father or grandfather or grandmother served in any branch of the armed services in a foreign country you may join the Sherman-Wudarcki-Sutton VFW 582 Ladies Auxiliary. Meetings are from 7:30-9:15 p.m., the third Tuesday of each month. The purpose is to provide assistance to local veterans and fund Michigan children of deceased veterans. Books for Bikes
The Masons? Book for Bikes contest will be going on until April 15. The program rewards Brandon School grades three through five for reading with the incentive of a new bike. For each eight pre-approved book students read, they are entered into a drawing for one of six new bikes donated by area Masons. GMS Equestrian

On April 30, the Edna Burton Senior Center, 345 Ball St., Ortonville, will be hosting their annual spring Teens and Seniors Rocking and Raking Yard Clean-up project.
