The ‘Summer Happenings Expo? is back and bigger than ever!
This year the Clarkston Coalition for Youth has partnered with Clarkston Community Education and Academic Boosters to offer members of the community the opportunity to see and experience the many businesses, clubs and organizations that make Clarkston a great place to live.
The 2005 Clarkston Connects Community Expo is set for April 16 from 9 a.m.- noon at Clarkston High School. The event features something for everyone including interactive exhibits, demonstrations, a moonwalk for the kids, an Independence Township fire engine on display, great door prizes and free stuff.
A wonderful addition to this year’s event is the Clarkston Community Education parent workshops providing parents tools to continue building the developmental assets in our youth.
Community businesses, clubs and organizations in the Clarkston area are invited to participate in the Expo. There are many ways to participate: be a sponsor, an exhibitor, a demonstrator or donate door prizes. Please visit www.clarkstonyouth.org or call 248-625-5092 or 248-941-1575 for more information.
