It’s cookie baking time for ESTHERS Children. The non-profit group based in Indepedendence Township makes Ckristmas cookies every year to raise funds for its work in Brazil to prevent the sexual exploitation, trafficking and prostitution of young girls.
A small tray of cookies and chocolates is $50 for three of each variety. Large tray, six of each, is $75. Each tray include a variety of 12 cookies and eight chocolates.
The trays include shortbread, apricot thumbprint, spritz, gingerbread, peanut butter kiss, turtle bars, raspberry bars, magic bars, date pinwheels, butter balls, santas whiskers, nut cups, cream cheese sugar cookies, and butter ball cookies, and chocolate covered Oreos, chocolate covered pretzel rods, english toffee, peppermint bark, chocolate espresso crunch, buckeyes, chocolate caramel turtles and coconut filled chocolates.
