Crash sends Pontiac woman to hospital

An auto crash at intersection of Woodbriar and W. Drahner Rd. Jan. 14 sent a 42-year-old Pontiac woman to the hospital.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s report, the accident happened shortly before 8 a.m. when a 2008 Ford Fusion, driven by a 19-year-old Oxford man, was pulling off Wood Briar and failed to yield to the Pontiac woman who was heading east on W. Drahner Rd. in her 2002 Ford Taurus. The Pontiac woman was transported by Oxford ambulance to St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac.
A sheriff’s deputy ticketed the Oxford man who refused medical treatment.
