For her work as a community volunteer, Bridget Schultz has been named a Class of 2008 Daughter of the American Revolution Good Citizen.
The Oxford High School senior received the distinguished award based on her demonstration of dependability, leadership, service and patriotism to an ‘exemplary degree.? The vote on Schultz was nearly unanimous for the award.
Schultz, the daughter of Thomas and Colleen Schultz, serves as President of the Executive Board and Class Vice President.
She also is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Club and Yearbook, where she’s the sports editor. She also volunteers in the local community as well as the high school and was recently selected from the class of 2009 for the ?2008-2009 Principal’s Leadership Award.? The senior has a 3.62 GPA and plans to attend Michigan State University, where she’ll pursue a degree in Interior Design.
