Brandon Twp.- The Board of Education approved at their April 9 meeting the purchase of two land parcels that will clear the way for construction of a new school.
The district will buy 75.03 acres located off Oakwood Road from Crystal Ponds of Brandon, L.L.C. at a price of $937,875. The board’s action ratifies the purchase agreement the district entered into with Crystal Ponds Feb. 6.
The board also approved the purchase of 2.5 acres from Dennis Post for $65,000. This parcel abuts the above-mentioned property and will be used for school access to the 75.03 acres.
