The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call on July 20 of a mentally disturbed subject at the Orion Lake Mobile Park off Brown Road.
Deputies arrived at about 1:30 a.m., and found a mentally disturbed man walking around the mobile home park with a long gun.
Auburn Hills officers assisted the officers from Orion Township in setting up a perimeter for the subject.
The man was located at his residence and apprehended without incident. The BB gun was retrieved from the bedroom.
The man was transported to St. Joseph Hospital for psychiatric treatment and observation.
