DTLO concerts run through Aug.

The Downtown Lake Orion Paint Creek Summer Series, with free concerts on Wed. evenings at the Children’s Park Gazebo, continues July 12, 19, at 7 p.m.
July 12 is Bill Long’s One Man Band, with singer, songwriter and Detroit icon Bill Long, a member of two national record charting bands, The Tidal Waves and 100 Proof.
He performs a mix of classic rock, blues, pop, country, bluegrass and surf guitar.
On July 19, enjoy the Paint Creek Boys, led by twins Don and Ron Whitaker, performing bluegrass and gospel. All six musicians in the group are local to Lake Orion.
On July 26, enjoy Irish Gaels, playing a variety of favorite Irish tunes and ballads.
On Aug. 2, listen to the Jump Street Swing Band, an 18-piece, high energy big band, co-led by Matt Reed on trumpet and Eric Simons on bass.
They perform classics such as American Patrol, Satin Doll and Moonlight Serenade, as well as contemporary swing hits.
On Aug. 9, come out for the Chautauqua Express. Since 1986, Guy Louis? family programs have entertained all ages with dancing and song selections for everyone.
On Aug. 16, Reggie Harrison and Friends will perform old favorites and cool new sounds, with a contemporary look at classics, standards and soft rock originals.
On Aug. 23, Yellowsub Marines will perform Beatles tunes, dressed in either black suits or Sgt. Pepper garb.
Finally, on Aug. 30, the Tom Allport Big Band will end the season with big band and jazz. Also enjoy a nice selection of Bossa Novas or Sambas.
