Elaine Joan Balini of Troy; died June 16, 2016. 

She was 91.

  Born March 8, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Duson and Jeanette (nee: Dolata) Vuknirovich.   She is survived by one son, John (Cheryl) Gault; three grandchildren, Jason (Sheila) Gault, Carrie (Darren) Montreuil and Justine (Richard) Owens; seven great grandchildren, Grace, David, Nicklas, Tristin, Kaitlyn, Thomas (Heather) and Lauren (Douglas); one great great granddaughter Lily; one sister, Shirlee Regiec.  Mrs. Balini was a longtime member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.  Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at White Chapel Cemetery, 621 W. Long Lake Road, Troy.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME-ORTONVILLE.  Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics or Salvation Army.
