The township board has accepted the resignation of B.J. Griffin from the Local Board of Canvassers and appointed Marie English to the remainder of the 2007 term.
English served as an alternate member of the board of canvassers in 2006.
Two Republicans and two Democrats serve staggered four-year terms on the board for the township.
