Familiar faces at Fortinberry car dealership

Clarkston Chrysler Jeep welcomes Dean Meadows back from Florida, where he spend the past two months as a minister with the Nazarene Church.
“I’ve been working here for 13 years, this is home,” said Meadows, who continues to minister in Flint when he’s not selling cars. “I’ve missed all the fun here.”
Also at the dealership, Lane Fortinberry was recently promoted to internet manager.
“Internet sales are growing,” said Fortinberry. “It’s an interesting challenge. It’s never boring.”
The oldest son of Clarkston Chrysler Jeep owner Chuck Fortinberry, Lane has been working at the dealership since he was 13 years old, he said.
“He’s worked in every department, washing cars, body work, sales,” Chuck said. “He has a full understanding of the business.”
Lane said he hopes to take over the family business one day.
“When it’s time,” he said.
