The Clarkston Farm and Garden Club hosts its 14th Annual Greens Market on Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Church of the Resurrection at 6490 Clarkston Road.
The Greens Market is the Clarkston Farm and Garden Club’s major fund-raiser which sponsors many projects including: environmental programs for 4,000 elementary students and scholarships for four high school seniors each year.
According to Mary Jane Scharfenkamp of the Clarkston Farm and Garden Club, the proceeds will help fund the Dandelion Bridge project in Depot Park intended to link the two sections of Depot Park for better community access. The bridge project, if completed, will honor long-time resident and former club member Daisy Dowling for her long-standing support and contributions to the community. For more info call 248-625-2032.
