‘It was 13 years ago we decided to open up a business and kind of give back to our community,? said co-owner Sharlene Dasuqi.
Dasuqi, who has almost 20 years of business administration and management, said she works with a great team, including Erin Gray, educational director for 11 years, Becky Miller, business manger for 11 years, and Nancy Morgan, assistant director with 13 years with the business.
Gray said they recently added sign language and Spanish to art, science, literacy, and math instruction.
The center is equipped with webcams in each classroom, food at no extra charge, and summer camp for about 280 children.
‘We recently hired a girl who used to attend here as a child,? Dasuqi said. ‘We feel we’re part of raising the community and we love that.?
