Phil and Cherie Fisher, of Goodrich, announce the engagement of their daughter Jody Marie to Joseph R. Owens. Joseph is the son of Jim and Becky Owens of Clarkston.
Jody is a graduate of Goodrich High School and Oakland University. She is a teacher for Lake Orion Community Schools.
Joseph is a graduate of Clarkston High School and Oakland University. He is pursuing his Juris Doctorate at Wayne State University Law School.
A June 2006 wedding is planned.
