Carrick House Concert Series continues, Sunday, Feb. 15, 4 p.m., with the acoustic music of Peter Mulvey and Drew Nelson.
Mulvey, songwriter from Milwaukee Wisc., has an intense percussive guitar style and strong national following in the indie folk/rock scene. He has scored music for theater and modern dance, and has had numerous songs featured in film and television.
Nelson is a Grand Rapids folk/rock artist known for addressing themes unique to Michigan such as auto industry, Great Lakes, trout fishing and Native American folklore.
The Carrick home in Independence Township offers an intimate concert experience, with opportunities to enjoy the show and meet the artists after. Concert includes pizza, snacks, coffee and water bottles.
