Clarkston and Lake Orion Varsity Hockey teams are joining together to sponsor the second annual ‘For the Love of the Game,? a youth hockey night. It will be this Saturday at 6 p.m. when Lake Orion hosts the Wolves at Detroit Skating Club.
The event recognizing youth hockey players from elementary to junior high from the Clarkston and Lake Orion school districts.
All youth players will receive free admission when they wear their team jerseys and will be entered into a drawing for a between periods Score-O competition with prizes.
They will also take a tour of the varsity locker rooms between periods and have an opportunity to meet with coaches and players after the game.
