Construction workers last week began pouring the foundation for the new Oxford Township office complex at 300 Granger Road.
The new two-level, 14,024-square-foot hall is being constructed on a 27.9-acre parcel the township owns at the northeast corner of Seymour Lake and Granger roads.
It’s being built on the northern half of the property and is expected to be substantially completed by Aug. 16.
A new municipal well site and water treatment plant will be built on the southern half near Seymour Lake Road.
The Grand Blanc-based R.L. White Construction is building the facility for $1,576,548. When all’s said and done, the new hall is expected to cost more than $2 million.
