Fun and fundamentals at summer camps

Clarkston Boys Varsity Baseball Coach Phil Price and his players are hitting the fields this summer to teach the sport to young athletes.
Pre-T-Ball Clinic, for boys and girls ages 4 to 6-years-old, is held June 10-13 from 1:30-2:45 p.m. The cost is $50.
Players ages 7-14 have two options – Baseball Camp for Beginner to Intermediate, June 10-13, from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m.; or Baseball Camp for High Level Players, June 17-20, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Both costs $150. All camps are held at the high school baseball fields and include a rain date.

Varsity Coach Kelly Avenall and staff host Clarkston Volleyball Clinic, Monday-Friday, June 10-14, at Clarkston High School.
Girls going into grades 9-12 play from 8-10 a.m., girls going into 5-8 play 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Cost is $90 and includes a T-shirt. Individual awards are given to outstanding athletes, players with a good attitude and tournament champions.

Girls looking to learn fundamentals of basketball, improve shots, or want to have fun – Dare to Dream Fundamental Basketball Camp is for you.
The camp is June 17-20 from 8 a.m.- 12 p.m. It is for girls entering third through ninth grade for the cost of $95.
Join Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach Tim Wasilk, his coaching staff and varsity players as they teach the fundamentals of basketball and give players the tools they need to improve their game.

Track Camp is coming for summer fun.
The camp is open to kids entering fourth through ninth grade and is July 15-18 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Clarkston Girls Track & Field Head Coach John Yorke, his staff and varsity athletes teach kids the fundamentals and enjoyment of track and field. Each day is filled with age appropriate skills, running and field games, demonstrations, competitions, and awards.It is held at the Clarkston High School and includes visit to the pool.
