Classes at Clarkston schools were cancelled last Thursday, Friday, and Monday due to frigid temperatures, but that didn’t mean kids couldn’t go outside to enjoy the weather anyway.
The Bousho family took advantage of the cold and headed to Crooked Lake at Independence Oaks on Thursday for some ice fishing, while Gabriel Diver of Independence Township, a fifth grader at Independence Elementary, built a snow fort at his home near the school, Feb. 20.
