Oxford High School baseball has a new Coach and the players are ready for the season.
There are three fund raising events coming and the team would appreciate Oxford’s participation.
Through the kindness of Red Knapp’s American Grill there will be a dining or carryout for dollars event on March 2.
Come up and eat with a spring baseball theme or get a carry out and mention the team. Red Knapps will donate a large portion of the receipts to the baseball program.
Don’t miss the St. Patrick’s Euchre Tourney! With the support of the Smokehouse donating the lower level and appetizers the team can hold this fun event on March 14.
Register at 6:30 p.m. if you think ‘you’ve got game? or just want to depend on the luck of the Irish to win the ‘pot o? money?. Entry is $25 per person.
On March 22, the team will be put to work pounding the pavement asking for empty cans and bottles to return. The funds will be used for many needed upgrades to equipment and accessories.
