Girls go 1-1 on field in doubleheaders

The Lady Wildcats? softball team went 1-1 in a doubleheader last week against Avondale.
In the first game the ladies won 3-0 where Cheryl Banas hitting 2-3, Jesse Ubbing went 1-3, Claire Hermanson went 1-3, Skye Donaldson went 1-3, Logan Medel went 1-3 with 2 RBIs. Unfortunately in their second game, Avondale beat the Oxford 11-1, where Banas went 3-3, Makayla Marshall went 1-1, Jordyn Zyngier went 1-3 with 1 RBI, Claire Hermanson went 1-3, Skye Donaldson went 1-3, Logan Medel went 1-3
Oxford also started this week off in a 1-1 doubleheader with Harrison High School. Harrion won the first game by a single digit of 8-7. Medel went 3-4 with 1 RBI, Banas went 3-4, Dymond Zeiger went 2-4, Hermanson went 2-4 with 1 RBI, Donaldson went 2-4 with 3 RBIs, Maddison Dinges went 1-3 with 1 RBI. Ashley Szymanski had 1 RBI. The Lady Cats were able to fight back a win in the second game with a 9-4 victory.
Zyngier went 3-4 with 1 RBI, Logan Medel went 3-4 with 1 RBI, Hermanson went 2-4 with 1 RBI, Jessica Ubbing went 1-4 with 1 RBI, Dymond Zeiger went 1-3 with 2 RBIs, Ashley Szymanski went 1-1, Skye Donaldson went 1-3, Cheryl Banas went 1-4 with 1 RBI.
The MHSAA District Finals is May 31 at Lake Orion High School, against Waterford.
