Despite losing some big contributors from last year’s varsity girls soccer team, new Clarkston Coach Annette Richardson feels that the Wolves have retained a strong nucleus.
‘We lost some key players but I think we have those shoes filled,? said Richardson. ‘These girls play year round they are ready to step in and perform.?
Richardson is looking to seniors Taylor Hosner, Amanda Leach, Jenna Przybycien, Lauren Smith and Amanda Henderson for leadership on and off the field this year.
‘I’m learning about the other teams as I go,? said Richardson.
Richardson has been drilling the team hard on set plays to increase their goal scoring and to better their defense this year around the net.
From what she has been told by her team, Stoney Creek and the Wolves will renew their rivalry on the field this season.
