Dear Editor,
The Gordie Richardson Oakland County Track Meet was on May 31, 2011 at Clarkston High School which featured more than 40 schools and 1,000 students.
The Brandon Middle School girls track team took first place.
I would like to ask the coaches, or whoever was responsible, why they did not get this event in the paper? I bet if it were the boys track team that won they would have had it in The Oakland Press the next day.
Unfortunately, they could not even manage to get it printed in The Citizen, our hometown paper. I would have thought it would be a part of the coaches job to do that. Shame on all of you.
