The team from the Hanson Brothers? Running Shop, located at 3 S. Broadway in downtown Lake Orion, had seven runners finish in the top 22 men’s finishers in the Boston Marathon on April 17.
Out of 12,000 runners, Hanson’s-sponsored Brian Sell of Rochester finished in fourth place overall, with a time of 2:10:55. Lake Orion grad Clint Verran, also running for Hanson’s, finished in seventh place overall, with a time of 2:14:12.
A celebration is being planned for downtown Lake Orion, and more details will be in next week’s Orion Review.
