Before March is Reading Month closed, Bailey Lake Elementary students filled the school for their annual Seuss Night, March 20.
The school was swarmed with striped hats made by the kids to look just like the infamous Cat in the Hat. Students also went home with colorful face paintings based on the beloved books, not to mention bags of Oobleck goo.
They played over 20 games – each based on a Dr. Seuss book.
They also created their own “hat snack,” a tasty treat with candy, cookies and frosting.
Before they left, students met Cat in the Hat and took their photo with him.
