The Lake Orion Early Childhood Programs and Success by Six invited families to celebrate the holiday season with a Snowball Party on Dec. 8 at the CERC building.
Director Melanie O’Neil, supervisor Judi Leach, coordinator Pam Andrews and Success by Six United Way coordinator Teresa Kolasse helped organize face painting, winter crafts, games, refreshments and even a face-to-face meeting with “Frosty the Snowman” for the children.
Leach said the party was also a way to thank parents for their patience this year as construction has been ongoing at CERC. “Our home in the Community Educational Resource building has undergone many new changes, and will soon be competed,” she said. “Our children and their families have been very understanding of all the inconveniences that go along with construction.”
