Henry Jay “Hank” Baxter of Goodrich died July 12, 2017.
He was 60.
Born December 17, 1956 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Calvin and Eleanor (nee: Schaller) Baxter. He married the former Michele Johnson on August 15, 1981 in Ortonville, Michigan. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Michele; two sons, Blake (Brittany Jeffe) Baxter and Tyler Baxter; three brothers, Calvin Baxter, Ronald Turcsak and Randy Turcsak; one sister, Judy (George Bishop) Davis; mother-in-law, Gloria Johnson; sister-in-law, Renee Thompson; two brother-in-law’s, Mark (Susan) Johnson and Mike Johnson; also survived by many nieces and nephews; he was preceded in death by his step-father Joseph Turcsak and his father-in-law Robert Johnson. Hank worked in manufacturing for many years. He had a million dollar voice that many loved to hear him sing and just talk. His tremendous love of music was shared with his two sons. Mass of the Resurrection will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2017 at St. Anne Catholic Church 825 S. Ortonville Rd., Ortonville. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME-ORTONVILLE 135 South St., Ortonville.
